A Fresh Perspective: CSA Research’s New Brand Identity and Major Platform Upgrade

When you clicked on the link that brought you here, you might have thought that someone spoofed Common Sense Advisory’s newsletter and hijacked you away from our blog. No worries. You are indeed at CSA Research, the company formerly known as Common Sense Advisory. This is part of our total redevelopment of our advanced research platform, brand identity, and corporate website.

The new website also carries the name that you’ve been calling us for years – “CSA Research” instead of our legal mouthful of a company moniker. This trimming cuts across the site in many ways. Its responsive design automatically adjusts itself to your screen, including your smartphone and tablet.

And it’s not just our corporate website that benefits from this new design, but more importantly the new publishing platform. While you can still get our reports in a linear PDF format, we added an interactive component that makes them easier to read on your computer’s browser, smartphone, or tablet. There’s a lot going on at the site, but the main takeaway is that it’s much easier to access the wealth and depth of our primary research. Here are a few new features and a link to a more complete description

  • Reading options. Our new reader’s interface lets you read the report sequentially with all text and graphics − or review all the data tables or images from that report. 
  • Saving and sharing. In response to our member requests, we’ve made it easier to choose text, data, or images and save them as documents or presentations. 
  • Searching. We substantially improved the search function so you're more likely to find what you’re looking for, which is especially important when going through the database of reports, webinars, and data on the site. This powerful search opens up our analysis and data for a wide range of topics for enterprise globalization teams, language service providers, and language technology vendors.
